“To reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.”
Our statement of purpose is based on two teachings of Jesus:
Matthew 22:36-40 - Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Mark 16:15-17, 20 - He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe…” Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

Alpha Course
Starting Tuesday 16 April - 6:30 in ‘The Loft’.
Alpha is a course that explores some of the big questions about faith, life and Jesus. This is a great course if you or someone you know is exploring Christianity, new to faith or even if you have been a Christian for a long time. Each session will have food, a video to watch together and discussions afterwards. Alpha runs for 11 weeks starting on the 16 April.

Welcome To Church Lunch
Sunday - May 5, After 11am Service
We would love to invite those who are new to Elim to our Welcome to Church lunch.
This is an awesome opportunity for you to meet our team and some of the other new people to Church, as well as an opportunity for us to get to know you better!
